Karuppu Day 13 Box Office: Suriya Goes Full God Mode as Film Equals Jailer's Day 13 Tamil Nadu Net Record
Karuppu has firmly established itself as the undisputed top performer of 2026, holding the number one position with a dominance that is hard to ignore. As we move into the second week, the film continues to show remarkable resilience at the box office.
According to early trends, Karuppu earned a net collection of ₹4.00 Cr on its second Wednesday. This reflects a minor 10.1 percent drop from the previous day net of ₹4.45 Cr, which is a very healthy hold for a weekday. This latest addition brings the total India net collection to ₹163.20 Cr. On the gross front, the film collected ₹4.61 Cr on Day 13, which is particularly impressive as it has surpassed the Day 13 gross collections of previous major hits like Jailer.
When we look at the historical rankings for the second Wednesday in the Tamil market, Karuppu has successfully secured a position among the top five all-time earners. It currently sits in the fifth spot with a Tamil net of ₹3.30 Cr. To give you some context on the competition, Master leads the list with ₹5.90 Cr, followed by Varisu at ₹5.15 Cr, Sarkar at ₹4.00 Cr, and Thunivu at ₹3.65 Cr. Matching these kinds of numbers in its second week proves that the film has high repeat value and strong word-of-mouth.

In the national chains, the performance remained solid for a thirteenth day. PVR led the way with roughly 8,290 tickets sold, bringing in a gross of ₹11.10L. INOX followed with 3,270 tickets and a gross of ₹3.90L, while Cinepolis added another 940 tickets with a gross of ₹1.33L. In total, the big three chains accounted for approximately 12,500 tickets and a combined gross of ₹16.30L for the day.
The ticket booking platforms tell a similar story of high demand. On BookMyShow, the film saw 81.96K tickets booked on its second Wednesday. This follows a strong second Monday of 100.84K and a second Tuesday of 79.16K. To put this in perspective, even a massive hit like Jailer saw 99K sales on its second Wednesday, showing that Karuppu is playing in the big leagues. So far, the total tickets booked on the platform have reached a staggering 39,24,510. With today being a public holiday for Bakrid, sales and collections are expected to see a significant jump. This boost should easily push the film past the 4 million ticket mark on the platform by the end of the day.
The global footprint is equally impressive. Based on Early trends On Day 13, the film collected ₹1.00 Cr from overseas markets, taking the total overseas gross to ₹70.00 Cr. When you combine the domestic and international numbers, the worldwide gross collection has now reached ₹258.85 Cr. It is interesting to see how the film is ranking among historical records for its thirteenth-day performance in the Tamil market.

As we look at the regional breakdown for Day 13, the Tamil version remains the primary driver with a net of ₹3.30 Cr and an occupancy rate of 23.0 percent. The Telugu version added another ₹0.70 Cr with 17.0 percent occupancy. State-wise, Tamil Nadu contributed a gross of ₹3.35 Cr, followed by the AP-TG region at ₹0.70 Cr, Karnataka at ₹0.28 Cr, and Kerala at ₹0.25 Cr. With such a wide-reaching performance, Karuppu is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
