Mumbai, May 5 - Bollywood action stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-fronted Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will no longer be releasing on Christmas 2023, according to Pinkvilla. ## Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the action entertainer has been pushed to Eid 2024 as the team believes that Eid is the best release window for an action film like BMCM to get the full advantage of its potential. It is said to be released on April 10 or 11, and the official announcement for the same is around the corner. ## "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is a big-scale action entertainer which has been extensively shot at real locations in Europe and UAE. 'The Kerala Story' Set For A Good Start At The Box Office

Mumbai, May 4 - Director Sudipto Sen's drama film The Kerala Story has been at the center of controversy ever since the trailer was launched. The movie is claimed to have been based on true events and follows the story of a group of women from Kerala who are converted to Islam and join the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). ## There was hardly any buzz around "The Kerala Story" a couple of weeks ago but due to the controversy, everyone is now aware of it which is proving to be advantageous as far as the box office of the film is concerned. The movie has been able to fetch a decent advance booking collection and despite being not a mainstream Bollywood flick, it has better pre-sales than films like "Kuttey" and "Gumraah" which had a bigger star cast and scale.## As of 4 AM on May 5, the pre-sales collection of "The Kerala Story" was approx. 1.25 Cr with around 60K tickets sold for the first day. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Release Date Gets Postponed

Mumbai, May 4 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action entertainer Jawan with director Atlee is no longer releasing on June 2. ## The makers have been keeping mum on the release date of the movie which leads to frustration among the fans. Amid the continued silence, it has now been reported that "Jawan" won't make it to the June release due to the pending work on VFX. ## According to Pinkvilla, "Jawan" is now looking for an August 2023 release. "Jawan is no longer releasing on June 2, 2023. The team needs some more time to complete the visual effects of the film and they would rather come up with a product that competes with the best in the country than a substandard one".## It is said that the makers are discussing releasing the movie on August 11 or August 25 this year and the official confirmation regarding the same will be made soon. Director Aditya Dhar's 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' Gets Shelved Over Budget Issue

Mumbai, April 28 - Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has been working on his passion project The Immortal Ashwatthama for a long time. It was announced in January 2021 with Vicky Kaushal as the lead. RSVP was on board to produce this mega-budget movie. ## However, the movie has been in trouble which eventually led RSVP to back out as the studio was unable to allot the huge budget Dhar was asking for. Vicky Kaushal too left the movie due to his other commitments. Just when the movie was on the verge of getting shelved, Dhar tried to revive the project by offering it to Ranveer Singh by bringing Jio Studios on board to produce. ## Well, it seems the movie is still not finding its place as the latest reports state that Jio Studios too backed out, and the movie has been shelved for the time being. According to Peepingmoon.com, the studio didn't approve the budget Dhar was asking for as there is a risk involved in making films with huge budgets in the post-pandemic times. ## The report further stated Aditya Dhar has halted the pre-production work and the crew involved with this film has also been relieved now as he understands that there is definitely a big risk with this project. However, "The Immortal Ashwatthama" is Dhar's passion project and he will definitely return to bring it to the big screen but not right now. ## Over the last one year, the movie has been offered to many actors, including Yash, Allu Arjun, and Jr. NTR, but things didn't materialize with them. Mumbai, April 27 - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan struggles on the first Thursday of its box office run as the early estimated collections are heading for around the 3.50cr net box office mark which is a low number. The film is not a big-budget film but still, it's a big film especially because it stars Salman Khan and these numbers are below the mark of what one expects from him. ## The first Thursday business will take the total business of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan to around 90cr net box office mark depending on the actual number of first Thursday. The 100cr net box mark which was expected to cross by the second Friday seems like a distant dream now. The film will cross the 100cr net box office mark but it will be mostly on Saturday or at worst by Sunday. ## The second Friday hold and the growth on Saturday and Sunday will determine where the lifetime business of the film is heading. Kartik Aaryan Breaks Silence on The Rumours of Him Headlining 'Tezaab' Remake

Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has responded to the rumors that are making rounds on social media that he has been roped in to headline the official remake of Tezaab. This is not the first time when Kartik had to respond to the rumors. ## It is reported by many leading media outlets that the "Tezaab" remake, which was first offered to Ranveer Singh, would be headlined by Kartik. Bollywood Hungama reported that Kartik showed interest in doing the film and the makers also wanted him to be cast in the lead roles. ## Kartik, however, has denied such a development stating that the news about him doing the "Tezaab" remake is not true. The actor took to Twitter to confirm the same and said "Not True" responding to a media portal. ## The actor, meanwhile, is currently shooting for Nadiadwala Grandon's production "Satya Prem Ki Katha", co-starring Kiara Advani. Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has been shooting for director Siddharth Anand's aerial action thriller Fighter which is one of the most anticipated Indian movies in the making. The movie also has Deepika Padukone as the female lead along with Anil Kapoor in a prominent role.## The shoot of "Fighter" has been going on since last year, and now, the team is heading towards the last leg of filming, including the epic climax scene. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan First Wednesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 26 - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which took an expected hit in collections yesterday has shown another drop but a better hold today at the box office by registering around 20% fewer collections compared to yesterday. The early estimate collections suggest around 5 crores net on Wednesday. ## The first Wednesday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 88cr net mark and now the 100 crores net in the first week is out of the equation. The film will hit the 100 crore mark on the second Friday or Saturday. It is the hold on the second Friday that will determine the fate of the film at the box office.## The collections and the hold in mass centers are fabulous but at the same time, the multiplexes are recording dull collections. The core Hindi mass belts have seen a good turnout which is a big plus as post-pandemic these audiences were the ones that the Industry has lost and now they are coming back with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. ## The film will be an underperformer at the box office especially because it stars Salman Khan who has a mega box office record since the beginning of the last decade. The word of the mouth of the film has been on the mixed side and that is now coming to the equation. Makers React To The Rumours of Asim Riaz Joining Salman Khan-Fronted 'Kick 2'
