Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma Reunite For Action Thriller 'Commando 4'

Mumbai, May 26 - The 4th installment of producer Vipul Shah's action thriller franchise Commando is officially in the works and has already commenced filming, confirms Adah Sharma who reprises her role as Bhavana Reddy. ## The shoot of Commando 4 commences with no prior announcement. The movie reunites the lead pair Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma after "Commando 3" which was released in 2019.## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Adah said that she is excited to be back as Bhavana Reddy in the upcoming film. "I am doing Commando with him (Vipul Shah), where I again play Bhavana Reddy. So for the action fans, that’s still there. There will be more action and more comedy... that role stays as is in Commando". ## Andy Long, who is Jackie Chan's stunt director, is on board the movie. "So the action is also going to be quite cool, and they are using different objects as weapons. So there's cool action, I don't think I should say anymore", Adah added.## "Commando 4" will be the third film for the actress in the franchise as the first "Commando" movie, which was released in 2013, starred Pooja Chopra as the female lead opposite Vidyut Jammwal. Shang Chi Review: Marvel Studios' 'Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings' Early Reactions Promise A Super Fun Ride

Los Angeles, August 17, 2021: Marvel Studios' next superhero gem, Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, is getting nearer to its much-awaited outright theatrical release, which is September 3. The Simu Liu fronted is touted to be a historical moment in MCU as it is the first Marvel film to feature an all Asian and Asian-American cast. ## Shang Chi, which is making its debut in MCU, was first announced by Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where Kevin Feige confirmed Simu Liu would play the Master of Kung Fu. The latest addition to the MCU's growing roster of heroes will rise in this origin story set after Avengers: Endgame when his father Wenwu (Tony Leung), who is the real Mandarin and leader of the Ten Rings, calls him back into action. ## It is also the first Marvel movie to get an exclusive theatrical release for 45-days in the pandemic era, unlike Scarlett Johansson-led Black Widow, which debuted on Disney+ premiere access and in theaters on the same day. Disney CEO Bob Chapek, however, has called Shang Chi's release an "experiment" amid the covid-19 pandemic, which got a response from the lead actor Simu Liu, who didn't seem too pleased with CEO's comment. ## Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina, Meng'er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung in prominant roles. Additionally, Tim Roth reprises his role as the Abomination from The Incredible Hulk (2008) and will be seen fighting with Shang Chi in the film. ## Marvel Studios held the world premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in Los Angeles on Monday, August 16. Akshay Kumar Is The Only Indian To Feature In Forbes List Of 10 Highest-Paid Actors

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has made it to another Forbes list this year after becoming the only Indian to be included in the Forbes list of top 100 highest-paid celebrities in the world. The actor has now ranked 6 in the Forbes list of 10 highest-paid male actors. ## The 52-year-old with his estimated earnings of $48.5 million becomes the only Indian to feature in the list of the year 2020. However, he has dropped two spots from the last year in which he was at number 4. ## Forbes reports that for his digital debut with the upcoming Amazon Prime series "The End", Akshay Kumar has signed a deal that pays him $10 million. Forbes described Akshay Kumar as "The only Bollywood star on the list, Kumar is working on his first television series The End for Amazon Prime."## However, Forbes stated that the bulk of Akshay's earnings are from advertisements and not film work, putting it bluntly, "Most of Akshay Kumar's money, though, comes from endorsement deals. He shills for everything from multivitamins to toilet cleaners."## Just like the last year, this year's list is also topped by wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson with his estimated earnings of $87.5 million. "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds holds the second spot with earnings of $71.5 million. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has found himself only Indian to make a cut in the Forbes list of the top 100 highest-paid celebrities on the year 2020. With estimated pre-tax earnings of USD 48.5 million (approx Rs 366 crore) from June 2019 to May 2020, Akshay Kumar found himself at the 52nd position. ## American media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner topped the list with estimated earnings of USD 590 million (Rs 4,453 crore) in the same period. ## Talking about Akshay Kumar, he, however, slipped 19 positions from his last year's ranking of 33 in the top 100 celebrity list. Last year his earnings were USD 65 million. Coronavirus has impacted on his earnings. ## Forbes report suggests that one of the big reasons for Akshay being on the list of highest-paid celebrities this year is his collaboration with streaming giant Amazon Prime Video with the actor makes his digital debut with the multi-season series The End.
