While the coronavirus pandemic still widening, Disney has further pushed the release dates of some of its major movies including Marvel's "Black Widow" and "Eternals", Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" and Kenneth Branagh's "Death on the Nile" by several months. ## As per the domestic reports, the announcement of the postponement of several movies is bad news for the exhibition industry, which is already facing fierce headwinds after closing for months due to coronavirus. The analysts have already projected that domestic grosses would decline between 70% to 80% due to the pandemic, as stated by Variety. ## Moving back to movies pushed further, "Black Widow" starring Scarlett Johansson, was set to debut on 6 November this year, a date that started to look increasingly unlikely as movie theaters on the coasts remained closed.## Since the disappointing performance of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" in the U.S. and the delay of "Wonder Woman 1984", Marvel was eyeing a new date to unveil the film on the big screen, and now, the superhero film will release on 7th of May in 2021. ## "Eternals" - a comic book adventure about a super-powered alien race was previously dated for 12 February 2021, will now debut on 5th of November 2021. Directed by Chloé Zhao, the movie stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Kumail Nanjiani.## Kenneth Branagh's "Death on the Nile" - will bow on 18 December 2020, vacating its original 23 October premiere. Actress-politician Hema Malini has lauded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday, for announcing a film city in Greater Noida of the state. ## Hema Malini, who is the BJP MP from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, expressed that she wished the film city was located in Mathura, but is happy with its current location because it will generate employment in her constituency as well, owing to its proximity to Greater Noida.## "At the outset I congratulate CM Yogi ji for announcing a mammoth project of building a Film city in 1000 acres in Gtr Noida sector 21. I had expressed my desire of constructing this in Mathura but in his vision, he has adopted the idea & turned it into a bigger & high end project", Hema Malini tweeted.## "Being frm films, it was my dream & desire to make Mathura a vibrant place with a beautiful film city which would also make for plenty of job opportunities. The project as envisaged by Yogi ji can still benefit Mathura also as it will be close enuf to give employment to many", she added. ## "I am also very happy to note that I will be a part of this mega project that is soon to be launched by Yogi ji. The Melissa Benoist-led "Supergirl" is all set to take one last flight with its sixth and last season. The CW announced on Tuesday that the "Supergirl" series will conclude with its upcoming sixth season which is slated to begin later this month in Vancouver, will consist of 20 episodes and premiere in 2021. ## "To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement. Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless", Melissa Benoist wrote on Instagram. ## "She's had that impact on me, too. She's taught me strength I didn't know I had, to find hope in the darkest of places, and that we are stronger when we're united. What she stands for pushes all of us to be better. She has changed my life for the better, and I'm forever grateful", she added. ## The last season of Supergirl will arrive whenever midseason 2021 is for the CW network. This move was designed to allow production to resume after leading lady Benoist returned from maternity leave.## "I'm so excited that we get to plan our conclusion to this amazing journey, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store. I promise we're going to make it one helluva final season. ♥️ el mayarah", Benoist further wrote on Instagram. ## The series, which was originally developed and aired its first season on CBS, was the second spinoff to originate from DC Comics drama Arrow, following The Flash.
