After taking an opening of Rs. 3.55 crores net on Friday despite a limited release, the film jumped by nearly 140% on Saturday for an incredible Rs. 8.50 crores, taking a two-day domestic total to Rs. 12.05 crores.
This is just a trailer as the showcasing of the film is increasing hour by hour after a massive demand for tickets. The Sunday collection will surely reach a double-digit number with the opening weekend is most likely to finish with Rs. 25 crores (+/-).
Based on the true events of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990s due to the Kashmir Insurgency, the movie has received a highly positive response from critics and audiences alike. It is the second film in Nationa-Award-winning filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's "Files" trilogy.
