The sci-fi action thriller, directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, scored 3.51 crores on the first day, which slightly came above the early projection. Being a holiday on Saturday, the movie records a jump of approx. 15% for an estimated 4 crores.
The opening weekend of "Attack" is heading towards 13-14 crores which can be considered a decent. It, however, should have scored close to 20 crores in the first 3 days to get some sort of momentum to carry in the weekdays. The opening week may be below the 20 crores mark now.
The movie is based on the concept of a super soldier, which is new in Indian cinema. However, the movie received criticism for the execution of this novel subject, but the performance of the primary cast is being praised by critics and audiences alike.
