The duo recently teamed up for the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, while their 8th film, Haiwaan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, is scheduled for release in September this year. While any drop in the second week is worth noting, a dip of less than 20 percent on a day when a new competitor arrives suggests that the film still has a dedicated audience. Chennai, July 2 - After months of delays and a long battle with the censor board, Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited film Jana Nayagan has reportedly finally received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). However, the biggest surprise is the film's reported certification, as reports claim the movie has been awarded an A’(Adults Only) certificate. The H. Vinoth directorial had been stuck in a major censor controversy for several months due to its alleged political themes, religious references, and certain intense scenes. Reports earlier suggested that the film could receive a UA 16+ certificate after multiple cuts and modifications, but as Lets Cinema, the film has been awarded an A rating, which makes it the first movie in Thalapathy Vijay's career to get adult certification.
