Hyderabad, June 14 - Superstar Ram Charan's Peddi has scripted a major milestone at the box office by overtaking Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu to become the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2026 worldwide. The sports action drama has enjoyed a good theatrical run since its release and has now surpassed the lifetime worldwide gross of Chiranjeevi's blockbuster entertainer, taking the top spot among Telugu releases this year.

Buchi Babu Sana's directorial crossed the crucial milestone after moving past the 301.50 crore worldwide gross collected by Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu during its theatrical run on its 11th day, at the time of writing this piece. With strong collections from the Telugu states and decent performance in the rest of the markets, Peddi has managed to edge ahead to become the biggest Telugu grosser of the year.

The film took an excellent opening at the worldwide box office and followed it up with a good opening weekend. Driven by massive anticipation and solid audience interest in the Telugu states, Peddi quickly emerged as one of the biggest openers of the year.
