Zoom Studios Announces Season 2 Of 'The Reunion' Mini-Series With New Actors

The popular mini-series by Zoom Studios, "The Reunion" is all set to come up with its new season with a fresh star cast. The first season received rave reviews for its refreshing storytelling and content and gained over 50 million views on Youtube and Facebook.

While the first season showcased the life of four school friends who meet after 10 years, the new season will narrate an emotional and roller coaster journey of the Pujari family, who've drifted apart over the years and are now living separate lives. The story moves ahead as they reunite under one roof.



The first season was helmed by Karishma Kohli, but this time, the makers have roped in the acclaimed filmmaker Danish Aslam to direct the 10-part series. The new season will feature Lillette Dubey, Veer Rajwant Singh, Devika Vatsa, Prabal Panjabi, Kashmira Irani, and KK Raina in prominant roles.

Talking about the series, Danish said, "The new season of 'The Reunion' is a slice of life series that explores the complexities and beauty of familial bonds, presented through a fresh and engaging narrative. We have brought together a talented cast and I am confident that the universal appeal of the storyline will resonate with the masses".

The show has also partnered with Odisha tourism to bring forth gorgeous landscapes shot in various parts of the state, including Shimilipal, Bhitarkanika, Konark-Puri, Chilka, Dhenkanal, Badmul, Daringbadi, Koraput, and Debrigarh. Season 2 is being produced by Zoom Studio and will stream on their YouTube page in April 2021.
