Zack Snyder's Netflix Film 'Rebel Moon - Part 2' Gets Disasterous Critics' Response

Los Angeles, April 19 - Zack Snyder's epic space opera Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is getting ripped apart by critics as far as the initial response is concerned, just like the first part.

After the disastrous response to the first movie, Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire, critics are calling its sequel even worse in terms of story as early reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are the worst ever for Zack Snyder's directorial.



Rebel Moon - Part 2 started streaming on Netflix on April 19 and the current critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes is just 18% of 61 reviews. If the initial response stays (which is very likely), it is another shocker for Snyder who is planning to make four more films in the same franchise.

It is to be noted that Rebel Moon - A Child of Fire was also slammed by critics as its Rotten Tomatoes score is just 21% from 173 reviews. The audience score too was on the average side with 57% from over 5000 ratings.

The film takes place on the moon of Veldt where Kora and the crew of warriors venture to help the farmers to defend and fight for their home against the Motherworld. It stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, and Ray Fisher, among others in key roles.
