Arlington, March 25 - Pat McAfee will return to the square circle against a dangerous Superstar at WrestleMania on Sunday and prove himself to Mr. McMahon, Austin Theory!





During his first live interview in 15 years on "The Pat McAfee Show", WWE President Mr. McMahon personally invited McAfee to compete in The Showcase of the Immortals, the former NFL player's WWE Universe. The tremendous engagement was the answer.





For several weeks since the announcement took place, McAfee and Austin Theory are planting heavy exchanges. McAfee is no stranger to the square circle. McAfee first made his mark in the WWE ring when he made a series of memorable performances in NXT.





This included his fearless performance inside the double steel structure of NXT Takeover WarGames 2020. Since putting his gear on the shelves, the outspoken personality has made himself a fan favorite as the color commentator on Friday Night SmackDown.





McAfee didn't have to wait long to find out his opponent. Just one night after Mr. McMahon's offer was extended, Austin Theory emerged to shortened to SmackDown commentator.





According to my presumption, fans are gonna pick a massive pop-up from the side of Pat McAfee, if he wins only. But, it's been quite often a history within WWE, that they don't create losing effort for a full-time talent. So, I would like to go with Austin Theory retreating against Pat.

For sure, WWE always keeps the backup and I guess, they must be done forging the power-packed opponent in the form of Cody Rhodes who is heavily rumored to be the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble Winner. ## However, While going through potential Royal Rumble winners, Dave Meltzer believes this year's WrestleMania match should be Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn. ## "WrestleMania should be Sami Zayn. I mean, I think it's it's like I'm watching this thing and it's like so clear in my head and it's that clear. You know, and again even I didn't study the ratings, I would say that, but studying the ratings makes it obvious. You know that he's the guy, you know, I mean Cody can be the guy and in you know, you have to rush to Cody. ## Anyway, maybe he could headline next year's WrestleMania. You could headline SummerSlam and Sami Zayn or you know, there's a million ways to get to Cody which at some point, you know at some point they should get to Cody too.
