Will Smith Slapped Oscar Presenter Chris Rock After A Joke On Wife

Los Angeles, March 28 - Actor Will Smith, who won his first Oscars ever at the 94th Academy Awards, stunned one and all after he slapped Oscar Presenter, Chris Rock over a joke on the actor's wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Chris Rock, who was on the stage to present the Oscar for documentary feature, made a joke about Will's wife being in "G.I. Jane" because of her shaved head. This didn't go well with the "King Richard" actor as he took the stage and punched Rock.



Smith then returned to his seat and yelled at Rock, saying "Keep my wife's name out of your f***ing mouth!". See the video below -

While many in the Oscars ceremony still processing the unfortunate incident, an emotional Smith took the stage to accept his maiden Oscars for "King Richard", and apologized to the Academy and many others for the incident, however, he didn't apologize to Rock for the same.

ICYDK, Will's wife Pinkett Smith has talked openly about losing her hair due to alopecia. She has been suffering from a hair loss condition since last year, and a joke about her condition lead to a bizarre unscripted moment.
