Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood's big clash this eid will be between Tiger Shroff Starrer Heropanti 2 and Ajay Devgn starrer Runway 34. Eid is considered one of the most commercially viable periods to release movies in Bollywood and the trend of releasing movies this weekend annually was started by Salman Khan back in 2009 with his action movie Wanted. After that, he kept releasing movies this time of the year and delivered many blockbusters and shattered many box office records too in the process.

Well, this year the case seems to be different as Salman Khan doesn't have a movie to release on Eid due to the delay in the production works of his upcoming movies. Salman is to give Eidi to his fans next year by releasing the third installment of the Tiger franchise of Yash Raj titled Tiger 3 on Eid 2023.



This major Void has paved the way for Tiger and Ajay to capitalize on this trend and release their movies. The audience will get a double movie bonanza this year.

Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 and Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 have the potential to do solid business at the box office. However, Runway 34 seems to have an extra edge over Heropanti 2 in the multiplexes largely due to its urban-friendly content whereas Heropanti 2 looks to target the single screen Audiences. The trailer of Heropanti 2 looks massy and has the potential to be an absolute paisa vasool movie. Tiger Shroff has showcased his acting skills in a big way in this movie.

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn is a certain actor in the industry who enjoys a solid fan base which itself will be a bonus for his making Runway 34 most likely to register higher opening competitively. Well at the end of the day the answer to the question of which movie will prevail over the other will depend on to what extent it successfully manages to entertain the audience.
