WWE WrestleMania 38 Results: Vince McMahon Vs. Pat McAfee Full Match & Winner

Pat McAfee returned to the squared circle on WrestleMania Sunday against a dangerous Superstar looking to prove himself to Mr. McMahon, Austin Theory!





The match saw Pat McAfee defeating Austin Theory by pulling off a hell of a performance.






After the match, Pat has some words for Vince. Vince starts to take off his jacket and then walks away. Vince takes off his jacket and then takes off his tie.





Pat sits on the turnbuckles while Vince starts to unbutton his shirt.





Before the match starts off Theory hits McAfee from behind.





The referee starts the match and Vince with a clothesline and he sends McAfee into the turnbuckles. Vince with another clothesline. Vince sends Pat into the turnbuckles. Pat has some words for Vince and Theory trips Pat and pulls him groin first into the ring post.





Theory has a football and he gives it to Vince. Vince teases punting the ball into the crowd. Vince kicks the ball into Pat and gets the three count.



Winner: Vince McMahon via pinfall

For sure, WWE always keeps the backup and I guess, they must be done forging the power-packed opponent in the form of Cody Rhodes who is heavily rumored to be the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble Winner. ## However, While going through potential Royal Rumble winners, Dave Meltzer believes this year's WrestleMania match should be Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn. ## "WrestleMania should be Sami Zayn. I mean, I think it's it's like I'm watching this thing and it's like so clear in my head and it's that clear. You know, and again even I didn't study the ratings, I would say that, but studying the ratings makes it obvious. You know that he's the guy, you know, I mean Cody can be the guy and in you know, you have to rush to Cody. ## Anyway, maybe he could headline next year's WrestleMania. You could headline SummerSlam and Sami Zayn or you know, there's a million ways to get to Cody which at some point, you know at some point they should get to Cody too.
