WWE WrestleMania 38 Results: Charlotte Flair Vs. Ronda Rousey Full Match & Winner

On WrestleMania Saturday, Ronda Rousey will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.





Charlotte Flair Vs. Ronda Rousey takes place on April 2, 2022 at the AT&T Stadium in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex city of Arlington, Texas.

The challenger, Ronda Rousey is out first, she looks to recapture the title. Ronda is followed by the champion Charlotte Flair. Both are in the square circle. The bell rings as Ronda exchanges punch. No high-profile offense. Charlotte looking for a Triangle right now, but Rousey gets it.





Ronda gets Flair on the apron, Flair with a boot to get her away, Ronda gets it and hangs on the ropes. Charlotte Flair slams Ronda into the apron. Ronda gets back to the ring, while, Flair is on the apron. Ronda with an Ankle lock, but Flair uses the force to send her to the floor.





Charlotte with a massive elbow to the temple of Rousey. Rousey is struggling to get back into the pace. This time Rousey with a big impact, she runs a massive knee to take Charlotte down. Rousey with a Tornado DDT for the cover, but kicks out.





Rousey is ripping off Flair with some punches, Rousey celebrates, meanwhile, Flair with a massive wicked Spear for near fall. Flair with a belly-to-belly Suplex.





Charlotte runs over Ronda and goes for a moonsault in the turnbuckle. Ronda walks in and Charlotte lands on her feet and hits another moon for a near fall. Charlotte with the chops. Ronda blocks a fallaway slam of her own and with a near fall.





Ronda is thrown into the tree of mourning and Charlotte is kicked to death. Charlotte goes to the turnbuckles and tries to pull Ronda up but Charlotte punches her. Charlotte and Rhonda pull themselves up with the Boston Crab in the turnbuckle. Charlotte slams Ronda on the mat.





Ronda with elbows on the turnbuckles and a Super Judo throw for a near fall. Ronda rolls over and prepares Charlotte for the Piper Pit. Ronda prepares for the arm bar but Charlotte runs away. Ronda with the knee but Charlotte with the boot to Ronda.





This match isn’t fluid and lacks a natural in-ring chemistry between Ronda and Charlotte, but so far the high point has been the hard hits where it seems like they’re legitimately trying to beat each other up.





A massive Ankle lock is applied by Ronda, Charlotte somehow manages to get out of it. They fight to the ropes and Ronda gets to the apron while Charlotte gets to the ropes. Ronda rolls to the floor.





Rousey hit Piper’s Pit again but Charlotte got her foot on the rope. Rousey had words with the referee and Charlotte then hit the Natural Selection but Rousey kicked out.





Charlotte went for the Figure 4 again but Rousey sent her into the referee. Rousey got the armbar on and Charlotte tapped but there was no referee. Charlotte hit a big boot and pinned Rousey.

For sure, WWE always keeps the backup and I guess, they must be done forging the power-packed opponent in the form of Cody Rhodes who is heavily rumored to be the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble Winner. ## However, While going through potential Royal Rumble winners, Dave Meltzer believes this year's WrestleMania match should be Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn. ## "WrestleMania should be Sami Zayn. I mean, I think it's it's like I'm watching this thing and it's like so clear in my head and it's that clear. You know, and again even I didn't study the ratings, I would say that, but studying the ratings makes it obvious. You know that he's the guy, you know, I mean Cody can be the guy and in you know, you have to rush to Cody. ## Anyway, maybe he could headline next year's WrestleMania. You could headline SummerSlam and Sami Zayn or you know, there's a million ways to get to Cody which at some point, you know at some point they should get to Cody too.
