Mandy Rose Comments On Scrapped WWE Plans, Confirms She Was Supposed To Win The SmackDown Women's Title At WrestleMania 35

BY SACNILK

Former NXT Women's Champion, Mandy Rose, recently shed light on scrapped plans for her at WrestleMania 35. Speaking to McKenzie Mitchell, Rose confirmed the long-rumored idea of her winning the SmackDown Women's Championship at the event from Asuka. ## For years, fans have speculated about a potential WrestleMania 35 title win for Rose. These rumors stemmed from leaked plans that never came to fruition. In her interview, Mitchell directly inquired about the scrapped plans, prompting Rose's confirmation. ## "Vividly, it's hard to remember, but I do remember moments of what happened, and I don't think I've ever shared this anywhere either. But it was very upsetting because it was like one of those moments that could have been really cool for me, but then it was just like, "Oh, maybe next time." But yeah, I do remember, obviously, we were in a storyline. It was Sonia Deville and Asuka and myself. Sonia and I were starting to have some conflicts being created.## It was kind of the beginning of it where we were kind of costing each other, you know, the match, and we just weren't getting on the same page with things with our matches with Asuka. We had singles matches with Asuka, and then I was told from somebody it would potentially be me versus Asuka for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania, which I was like, "Whoa, I don't even think I really like believed it, though, to be honest, It was super big moment. I was kind of just taking it with a grain of salt. Anything can happen. Anything can change. And so it did. But yeah, it was just one of those moments where it was just kind of shitty, and you just had to kind of back to the drawing board. And I remember venting to a few people about it, but it was a little bit just disappointing. Yeah, it was really disappointing, but it was one of those things that like it happens."## Rose further commented on what gear she wore that night; ## "This was a really cool jacket that I had made. I did end up wearing it at the battle royal at Wrestlemania 35, which I ended up in the Battle Royal when I was potentially having a title match. But you know, I strut myself down that ramp and I wore this. It's very, yeah, it's heavy too. I mean, this is like 10 lbs on its own, right? And wearing it, and it also, like, tight on the arm, so getting it off was like, I was like, "Oh." But yeah, no, I thought it was really cool, and I probably had some ideas of maybe Wings back then to go out if I did have that match 'cause it would have been really special. But I don't. I never had Wings made."## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Former WWE Star Mandy Rose Details What She Wanted To Achieve During Her Run On 'NXT' Between 2021 And 2022

BY SACNILK

Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose, who enjoyed her most successful run in her final stint with "WWE NXT," has opened up about the changes she made to refresh her character. In a recent interview on McKenzie Mitchell's YouTube channel, Rose revealed her desire to evolve during her 2021-2022 return to "NXT." She took this run seriously and wanted her character to reflect that.## "I went with the whole dark hair look and I just had kind of a different vibe going," Rose said. "I just wanted to be a little edgier, I wanted to be taken more serious because it was always 'The Golden Goddess' and I wanted to switch it up." ## This character shift coincided with her most dominant period. Rose reigned as the "NXT" Women's Champion for over a year, defeating popular wrestlers like Dakota Kai, Meiko Satomura, and Io Shirai (now IYO Sky). However, her reign ended abruptly in December 2022 when Roxanne Perez dethroned her, followed by her release from WWE.## The reasons for her release remain ambiguous. Some reports indicate it stemmed from the content on her FanTime page, deemed incompatible with WWE's PG image or conflicting with a sponsorship deal.## Rose had a rollercoaster seven-year career with WWE. After spending all of 2016 in "NXT," she transitioned to the main roster for four years before returning to "NXT" in 2021, where she remained until her release. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
