WWE SummerSlam 2022 Results: Logan Paul Vs. The Miz Full Match & Winner

After being successful teammates at WrestleMania, Logan Paul and The Miz will clash in a star-studded match at SummerSlam.






WWE SummerSlam, streams live Saturday, July 30, at 8 ET/5 PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.

Paul fires back, Paul sends The Miz over the ropes and gets on the apron to plant a Moonsault off the apron. Both are back in the ring. Miz backs Paul into the turnbuckle and clicks up with a chope, Paul Reverses and lands his own.






Ciampa is playing the distraction meanwhile from the ring post, The Miz with a chin lock, and the crowd is chanting, "Tiny Ball". The Miz with a knee, but Paul sides up and connects with the turnbuckle, Paul with a Boot, and immediately lands with a Neckbreaker from the second rope.






A back elbow was delivered followed by a Running Powerbomb. Paul is ripping off The Miz with kicks, Miz is up, but Paul with a nasty attack on the knee to take him down.






Paul goes for the Ankle lock, The Miz saves by touching the bottom ropes, Paul with a Forearm over the top and goes for a Crossbody followed by standing Moonsault for the cover, but kicks out at two and a half.






Miz with a back elbow to the head followed by a boot to the head. Paul with a back elbow and Miz goes down. Miz grabs the referee to distract him but he is able to see Ciampa and Ciampa is sent to the back.






Ciampa gets a chair and sits down at ringside. AJ Styles’ music plays and he hits Ciampa off the ringside barrier. Styles with punches and he sends Ciampa into the crowd. They fight to the back through the crowd.






Paul for a near fall with a springboard forearm. Maryse gets up on the apron and she is trying to stop Paul but it doesn't work. Paul with a frog splash to The Miz through the table. Paul brings Miz back into the ring and covers Miz but Maryse distracts the referee.






Paul argues with Maryse while the referee tells Maryse to get off the apron. Miz tries to kill Paul with his Gem Mint Zero photo but Paul walks in and he almost hits his wife but stops. Paul with a skull-crushing finale for the three count.

It was kind of something that I halfway expected, because I feel like, in a way, the fans felt like I let them down, you know? Because I feel like the ending of the match, because of its controversy, they felt indifferent. ## They wanted me, I think, to get a clean, solid win, but I was facing the Baddest Woman on the Planet, who has years, and years, and years, and years, and years of mixed martial arts experience, and I outlasted two armbars and I did my absolute best in that very moment, and so they weren’t happy with the conclusion of the match. But at the end of the day, the referee’s decision is final, but and I’m still the SmackDown Women’s Champion and the only woman to beat Ronda Rousey twice.” ## “I hated it. It’s not the way that I would have hoped for it to go. WWE originally set up a match between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins for the recent SummerSlam card, but the match was canceled a few days before the event. WWE did a storyline injury where Riddle suffered a stinger as a result of Rollins' attack on Raw.## WWE had a brawl clause at SummerSlam. The bout was being pulled because WWE wanted to save it for a later date, which is today's Clash in the Castle event.## Speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Rollins explained how he felt about the decision.## “Okay, we could use a few more weeks to build this story as it was, but yeah, they made the choice to ax our match and make sure all the other matches were maximized with time and story and all that. Totally understood that and respected that. I was a little upset that we advertised the match and not given it to them. At the level I have been performing for the last year, I felt like a bit of a slap in the face as a performer that I wasn’t able to be on what is essentially the second biggest show of the year for us.”## Feeling insulted by the decision, Riddle was asked his thoughts about it.## He said, “Of course. I think anybody in my position who takes pride in what they do would think there’s gotta be a little bit of disrespect felt there. Did I go about it the right way? Maybe, maybe not…The tweet.” ## He said that earlier he was not aware of this and when he got to know about the decision, he did not take it very politely and knew a few days before the announcement. Rollins later spoke about the statement that was not in character.## “I feel bad for people who wanted to see the match who had paid money to maybe to see that match, specifically that we had been building towards a few weeks and had been advertising it for a week or two.
