Theory will receive his rematch against Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

At Money in the Bank, Bobby Lashley defeated Theory to win the United States Championship.[19] On the following episode of Raw, Theory announced he was granted a rematch against Lashley for the title at SummerSlam.

Theory hits Lashley in the ribs. Theory goes for a suplex but Lashley blocks it and Theory gets on her feet. Theory with a punch and Lashley with a back elbow and clothesline. Lashley goes to the floor with a choke slam and Theory. Theory finds his briefcase and starts walking backwards.

Lashley signals for a spear and Theory with a leapfrog to escape Lashley and Lashley hits the ring post with his shoulder. Siddhant sets up for a slingshot rolling drop kick but Lashley catches Theory and applies Hurt lock and Theory is tapped out.
