On Saturday, January 28, 2023, WWE is all set to hold their fourth Royal Rumble in San Antonio and the third at the Alamodome. The whole Royal Rumble storyline circles around the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches.
Both the men's and women's matches generally feature 30 wrestlers. Traditionally, the winner of the match earns a world championship match at that year's WrestleMania.
In addition to the Women's and Men's Royal Rumble matches, the event also features a prominent match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. Plush, It will be the first-ever Pitch Black match between LA Knight and Bray Wyatt.
Elsewhere, WWE Raw Women's Championship will be on the line as the champion Bianca Belair defends against the challenger Alexa Bliss. More matches and participants can be looked on below.
WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Confirmed Match Card
WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns(c) Vs. Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the 20223 Royal Rumble PPV. The challenge was laid down during the January 6th 2023 edition of SmackDown, when The Bloodline kicked off the show with a promo. Reigns were too up there and flared up over Sami Zayn’s loss from the previous week but then Kevin Owens interrupted the segment.
Owens challenged Reigns to a title match at the Royal Rumble. Reigns just wants Owens to leave. Owens agreed to go. As he walked away, he told Zayn that he'd see him when he digs his balls out of Roman's pocket. It has now been made official, Kevin Owens will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at Royal Rumble 2023.

Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight - Pitch Black Match
Bray Wyatt vs LA Knight will be a Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble.
WWE is all set to do the first-ever Pitch Black Match at the 2023 Royal Rumble on January 28th in San Antonio. It was about a month when WrestlingNewsCo first reported the company’s plan to do a Pitch Black Match.
WWE officially confirmed via a video posted on Twitter that the "Pitch Black Match" will be taking place at the 2023 Royal Rumble event. With Knight attacking Wyatt, Only to be seen in a video hooked up in an unknown location, planted the seeds for a possible "Pitch Black" Match. Now, During the Final SmackDown edition of SmackDown, LA Knight challenged Wyatt to a match at Royal Rumble which was later confirmed to be a Pitch Black Match.

WWE Raw Women's Title Match: Bianca Belair(c) Vs. Alexa Bliss
At Royal Rumble, Alexa Bliss will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Title with the ominous Uncle Howdy lurking in the shadows.
The fans saw A glimpse of the match when Bianca Belair put her Raw Women’s Championship on the line in a very tough title showdown against Alexa Bliss on the January 2nd episode of RAW. However, during the match, Bliss spotted two different Uncle Howdy faces in the crowd. After attacking the official in the ring, the incensed Superstar went ballistic on The EST of WWE and delivered two brutal DDTs to her onto the steel ring steps.
On the January 16 episode of RAW, Belair returned from her injuries and called out Bliss. During the promo, Belair challenged Bliss to a match at Royal Rumble which Bliss accepted. The two irate Superstars ended up brawling into the crowd, however, Uncle Howdy again made an appearance to drastically affect the melee and cast further doubt over whether he is actually the one in control.

The Royal Rumble match generally features 30 wrestlers and the winner traditionally earns a world championship match at that year's WrestleMania. For 2023, the men and women can choose which world championship to challenge for at WrestleMania 39.

Royal Rumble 2023: Date and start time In UK This year’s Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as part of the Alamodome's 30th anniversary celebration.
The card will begin from 1am in the UK and continue into the early hours of Sunday morning. There will be a pre-show on for two hours first from 11pm which will be shown for FREE on WWE’s YouTube channel.
The Rumble will be shown on pay-per-view TV in the UK and is on BT Sport Box Office – coverage will begin at 1am.
