WWE Monday Night Raw, September 11, 2023: Live Coverage
The show starts off with Jey Uso who makes his way down to the ring. Jey takes the mic and says that he is now out of The Bloodline and now he feels good to be on his own. The Music hits as Kevin Owens makes his down to the ring.
Kevin Owens takes the mic and says, He is happy to see Jey on his own show and says he knows what kind of situation Jey has been going through right now. Owens talks about his past, stating that he has done a lot of bad things in his past with some good and it took a lot of time to earn the respect, but there are still some people who doesn't want to see him around and they are Drew McIntyre and Riddle.
The Music hits and we see Preist and Dominik coming out there.
Kevin Owens explains that Sami is not here tonight, so he will fight on his own, but Jey offers the proposal to be tag team partner of Kevin Owens and th match is up next.
Non-Title Match: Finn Balor and Damian Priest (with Dominik Mysterio) Vs Kevin Owens and Jey Uso
The bell rings and the match starts off with Jey and Priest locking up. Nothing big has been landed for the time being, they are just stretching around take-downs. Finn Balor comes in with a tag, while, Jey Uso tags with Owens. We see Owens landing a DDT to Finn Balor for the cover, but doesn't get the win. Owens lifts Finn for a slam, but Finn saves by getting back on his feet and chocks down Owens. Priest comes in, while on the other hand, Jey Uso comes in and goes for a Cross Body for near fall.
Jey Uso connects with a Samoan Drop. Jey now sends Finn to the floor after landing a kick. Back from the break and there is a clothesline for the cover, but no win again. No Bing time offense for the time being, they are just exchanging punches in the middle. Jey is doing some offense as he goes for a Samoan Drop, but can't get it down. Finn tries a Slingblad, but Jey avoids it and lands a Neck Breaker.
The match is about to come to an end, Owen and Priest are in the ring right now. Owens takes down Priest into the corner and goes for a cannonball, but his knees give out on him. Priest goes for South of Heaven and comes up with a Tornado DDT for near fall. Priest tries a Superplex, but Owens gets him down with punches. Owens with a Fisherman's Buster when Finn tried to land a Superplex. Owens goes for a near fall, but no win yet. Jey goes for a kick, but he accidentally takes down Owens when Priest moves and I think that's where things will end for Owens and Jey. Finn with a Coup de Grace for the cover and the win.
WINNER: Finn Balor and Damian Priest
Following the match, Owens gets out of the ring and looks at Jey. Jey tries to explain what just happened, but Owens leaves out of there. We see Rodriguez is in the back, meanwhile, Natalya joins in.
Owens is in the backstage area, Jey comes from behind and wants to apologize for the accident, but Owens isn't listening to him and tells him to join The New Bloodline in the Judgement Day locker room.
Up next we have a video package for last week's match between Gunther and Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship. Meanwhile, Imperium arrives and they are dressed for a celebration.
Singles Match: Miz Vs Akira Tozawa
Looks like a very lame match, The match starts off with The Miz leading the actions. The Miz is all dominant. The Miz tried with his hands and legs, but nothing was coming off with perfection. Finally, The Miz goes for back-to-back three Skull Crushing Finale for three counts to win the match.

Up Next Imperium holds an Intercontinental Title celebration for “The Ring General” Gunther
We see Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci make their way to the ring and they bring out Gunther. The Music hits and here comes Gunther. Gunther takes the mic and he is now officially the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion in the history of WWE. Gunther proudly says he is running low on competition.
The music hits and here comes Chad Gable and he wants another title shot and this time he promises to come out as the new champion. Gable says this time he will do it for her family and he swears to god that he walking out as the new champion. Gable Swears to god that this time his daughter is walking with a smile on her face.
Gunther calls Gable a terrible father. Gable attacks Gunther, but Vinci and Kaiser stop him doing this. Chad Gable is trying to fight off, meanwhile, Otis makes his way to the ring and he sends Kaiser and Vinci to the floor. Tommaso Ciampa also joins the action and he has chair in his hands. Imperium leaves the ring.
Singles Match: Drew McIntyre Vs Xavier Woods
The bell rings and the match starts off with Woods landing punches in the middle. Woods is looking to fast filling. Drew McIntyre fights off Woods with a GlassGow kiss. Woods with a punch followed by a kick into the ribs, Woods goes for another one, but this time Drew with a massive Clothesline to take him down. Drew goes for another one and he is sent to the floor and Woods moves out. Woods Attempts a Suicide Dive, but Drew catches him in mid and throws him into the announce table.
We are back from the break and Drew and Woods are fighting on the top of the ring post. Drew gets Woods up on his shoulder, but Woods instead comes off with a Powerbomb and immediately goes up for a legdrop for the cover, but Drew kicks out. Drew with a Belly to belly Supplex, Drew with another one followed by a neck breaker. Drew sets up Claymore's kick, but Woods with a massive Superkick for the cover, but kicks out there.
Woods gets ready for another kick, but Drew blocks it and gives him a chop to the chest. Drew then tries to set up an Alabama Slam, but Woods dodges it. Instead, Woods lands a Superkick followed by a basement kick and goes for the pin, but he doesn't get the win. Both guys start throwing punches at each other. Finally, Drew McIntyre manages to hit a Claymore kick after missing a few times. He covers Woods and gets the victory.
WINNER: Drew McIntyre via pinfall
Cody Rhodes Promo is Up next
The music hits and here comes Cody Rhodes, he makes his way to the ring. Rhodes takes the mic and asks fans what they wanna talk about, but he is interrupted by Dominik and JD McDonagh. Dom has the mic, but here is the problem, the crows aren't letting him speak with those massive boos.
Cody had it enough and he punches Dominik and then JD attacks from behind. They join to firm the attack. Cody Rhodes sends JD over the top ropes to the floor and plants Dom with a CodyCutter. JD comes in but ends up getting a CrossRhodes. Cody with a CrossRhodes on Dom and they get out.
-We see Jey and Drew are in the back. Jey tells Drew to have a match next week on Raw and Drew accepts it. So, we have a match next week on Raw.
Chelsea Green (with Piper Niven) Vs Shayna Baszler
WINNER: Shayna Baszler
-Seth Rollins is up next and he makes his way to the ring. Seth Rollins takes the mic and welcomes everyone to Raw. Rollins starts off by saying that he is everything that Nakamura claims that he is. Seth says he went to be what everyone wanted him to be and that didn't work. Seth says he became a Messiah and that didn't work.
Rollins says he is not here to talk, he is here to fight. Rollins calls out Nakamura to the ring. Shinsuke Nakamura's music plays and nobody comes out. Rollins looks around, but there is no one.
Meanwhile, we see Nakamura is on the LED screen and he is seen beating down Ricochet in the back. Nakamura tells Seth he would fight Seth but he thought Seth wasn't medically cleared to he packed already. Nakamura says he will take Seth's title, but not tonight.
Chad Gable, Otis, and Tommaso Ciampa (with Maxxine Dupri) Vs Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci
This has to be a great match on the card. The bell rings and the match starts off with Vinci and Ciampa. Not so much land for the time being, Ciampa comes up with a first move as he lands Thesz Press followed by punches. Gable goes for Takedown followed by a Dead Lift German Suplex, but Kaiser counters it with an elbow followed by a Clothesline.
They send Gable into the ring post and connects with a double drop kick followed by a boot from Gunther. Gable with a Judo throw. There are multiple tag exchanges. Gunther is on the apron and Ciampa follows up with a knee to knock him off the apron. Ciampa hits a Reverse DDT for the cover, but no win there. Meanwhile, Vinci with a clothesline.
So much chaos in the match, I would say, this was one of the best parts of the night. Chad controls now, and he attempts a Dead Lift German Suplex, but Gunther counters it with a German Suplex. Gunther goes for a Power Bomb, but Gable rolls through that. Gable locks in the ankle. Vinci with a Springboard Cross Body, but Gable with an Ankle lock.
Meanwhile, Gunther goes for a Powerbomb on Gable, but Ciampa comes in there and hits a knee to Gunther. Vinci with a roll-up on Gable for a near fall. Gable finally locks the ankle on Vinci and he taps out.
WINNER: Chad Gable, Otis, and Tommaso Ciampa (with Maxxine Dupri) via Submission
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship
Both women are in the ring, ready to take that spot. remember, Dominik can't be ringside. The bell rings and the match starts off with Rodriguez delivering a Clothesline, Rodriguez goes a sunset flip, but Ripley avoids it. Rodriguez with a Powerslam sent Ripley to the mat.
Rodriguez with a bear hug, Ripley trying some sort of separation here. Ripley finally escapes with a headbutt, and she gets up on the ring post and follows up a Dropkick from the top. Rodriguez rolls out of the ring. Rhea Ripley follows up and goes for a Flip to take down Rodriguez. Rhea gets Rodriguez back to the ring and connects with a knee for the cover, but doesn't get the win.
Nice Dropkick by Ripley and now measuring Rodriguez, but she is sent over the top ropes to the floor. Rodriguez follows up and connects with a big boot, sending Ripley into the barricade.
We are back now, Rhea is taking over now. Ripley is taking a commanding role in this match now. Rhea is now locked up and Ripley is pounding away. Rodriguez slams Ripley into the mat to release the pressure on her knee. They are finally up and Rodriguez follows up a boot, but Ripley sides out and Rodriguez hangs up on the turnbuckle. Again Ripley gains control. Rodriguez sends Ripley into the turnbuckle. A couple of jabs right there from Rodriguez and rocks up with a forearm. Both women are down as they connect boots to jaws. Ripley with a headbutt while both women are down on their knees. They exchange blows and it's Ripley who gets the last laugh. Ripley with a Suplex for the cover, but doesn't get the win.
Ripley with a blow to the back of the neck, and it's now Rodriguez with Rhea up and sends her into the turnbuckle. Rodriguez with a big Boot for the cover, but no win there. Rodriguez steps over Ripley and follows up with a crossbow, but Ripley sides out and crashes in. Ripley goes up to the top and follows up with a Frog Splash, cover made and she kicks out.
Ripley sends Rodriguez to the floor and she is on the apron, but this time Rodriguez catches her in mid-air and lunches into the announce table. Rodriguez sends Ripley back into the ring...but wait a minute who the hell she is?...it's Nia Jax attacking Rodriguez outside. Jax launches Rodriguez on the floor with a Samoan Drop and sends her back to the ring. Meanwhile, Ripley with a Riptide on Rodriguez to win the match.
WINNER: Rhea Ripley
