WWE Monday Night Raw Results October 2, 2023: Live Coverage, Winners, Commentary, Recap

San Jose, 1 October - Here is the live coverage for this week's Monday Night Raw which is scheduled to air on October 2, 2023, at the Sap Center in San Jose, CA.

Monday Night Raw currently airs live on Monday evenings on the USA Network from 8:00 ET–11:00 PM ET in the United States. WWE Raw starts live at 1 am in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Tuesday mornings.



WWE Raw Time In Australia: It airs live on Tuesdays at 10 am (AEST) on Fox8

WWE Raw Time In Canada: It airs live every Monday at 8 Am on Sportsnet 360

WWE Raw Time In South Africa: The show also airs live on Supersport in South Africa on Tuesdays at 02:00 am CAT



Raw Time In Italy: In Italy, Raw airs live on Dplay 2:00 pm

WWE Raw Time In India: Raw airs live on Sony Ten 1 HD and Sony Ten 1 in India at 5:30 am

WWE Monday Night Raw, October 2, 2023: Live Coverage





The show kicks off with a brawl between Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax. Ripley gets in the ring and calls out The Judgment Day. Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio make their way to the ring.

Back from the commercial break...Ripley talks about having issues with The Judgment as there are no leaders to handle the game plan. Ripley now shoots down at Priest by saying that Priest let them down every time after getting that responsibility. Ripley confirms that Finn is injured and he is not medically clear to be here.

Ripley goes on to claim that Dominik lost his NXT North American Title because of Priest. Meanwhile, Priest takes the mic and defends himself by saying that he has his titles on his shoulders and he is ready against Cody and Jey.

Rhea confirms that Dominik will have his rematch against Trick Williams tomorrow on NXT and makes sure that he doesn't come home with the title on his shoulder.

We see the music hits and here come out Jey Uso. He heads to the ring and welcomes back Rhea Ripley. Priest attempts to attack Jey, but Dominik stops him saying that he will handle things with Jey. Dominik with a sneak attack, but misses and Jey perfectly lands a superkick on Dominik. JD with a punch from behind and Jey is being attacked now by both.

The Music hits and here comes out Cody. Jey and Cody clear the ring. We see Pearce appears there and confirms a title match between Cody & Jey and Priest & Balor.

Tag Team Match: Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci vs. Chad Gable & Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri)

Alpha Academy and Imperium are in the ring. The match begins with Gable facing off against Kaiser. Gable starts with a punch, and Kaiser responds with a kick before tagging in Vinci. Gable attempts an Ankle lock, but it doesn't quite connect. He follows it up with a Suplex on Vinci.

Gable heads to the top rope, but Kaiser pulls him out of the ring, prompting Gable to dive onto Vinci.

Kaiser delivers a Baseball dropkick to Gable, sending him out of the ring. They all return to the ring, and now Vinci takes control, hitting Gable with a Clothesline. Gable responds with a German Suplex on Kaiser after trying for an ankle lock.

Gable then executes a Powerslam on Vinci, while Otis lands a Caterpillar on Kaiser. Otis climbs the second rope for a Fallaway, but Vinci interrupts him. Kaiser finishes it off with an enzuigiri on Otis, securing the victory.

WINNER: Imperium

Singles Match: Bronson Reed vs. Cedric Alexander

The bell rings and the match starts off...just a minute into the match and Cedric lands a Dropkick that sends Reed out of the ring. Cedric with a suicide dive on Reed. Alexander also goes for a dive. Cedric runs into a clothesline, and Reed finally comes out with the Tsunami for the cover and gets the win.

WINNER: Bronson Reed

Adam Pearce is backstage, meanwhile, Drew McIntyre comes in and confirms that he has no intention of doing Miz TV. Drew says he doesn't feel like doing it this week. Drew says he will be there in the ring to address the fans but if Miz tries to come in his way, he will regret it.

Drew McIntyre reminds Pearce that no one helped him against the Bloodline.

Contract signing between Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa

The segment kicks off with Pearce. He brings out Tommaso Ciampa and makes his way to the ring. The champion Gunther is up next to come out. Ciampa is the first to sign the contract. Ciampa takes the mic and says, he wasn't given the opportunity, he's dreamed of winning since he was five years old.

Ciampa confirms that his entire family will be at ringside to see his match. Gunther gets on the mic and plays a dig a Ciampa's attire for the contract signing. He says the Intercontinental Championship means the most to him.

Gunther finally signs the contract and shoves Ciampa. A brawl breaks out between both superstars. Ciampa puts him in the Sicilian Stretch, but Gunther escapes the ring.

Singles Match: Xavier Woods vs. Ivar

We are down to another match of the night and it's Woods vs. Ivar. The bell rings and the match begins with Ivar knocking down Woods. Ivar misses a splash and runs into a dropkick by Woods. We are back from the commercial break...Woods covers after hitting a slam, but Ivar kicks out at 2 and a half. Ivar with his own slam and marches his way to the top, Woods also joins him there and prepares for a powerbomb, but Ivar doesn't let it happen. Ivar once again makes his way to the top and performs a splash, but misses. Woods takes the advantage and covers him for the win.

WINNER: Xavier Woods

After the match, Ivar attacks Woods. Kofi tries to make the save, but he is also taken out. Ivar finishes off with a moonsault on Woods and Kingston.

Singles Match: Tegan Nox vs. Chelsea Green

The bell rings and the match kicks off...Nox eats a kick in the face that sends her out of the ring. Nox with a dive from the top and gets Green back into the ring. Nox goes up top, but she is distracted by Piper Naven. Natalya also comes there. While Nox performs a dive onto Green followed by the shiniest wizard for the cover to win the match.



WINNER: Tegan Nox

Drew McIntyre Segment



Singles Match: The Miz vs. Drew McIntyre

The match starts off now, but The Miz rolls out when Drew goes after him. Drew goes behind and sends him into the barricade, planting him onto the apron. Miz gets on the attack, he sends Drew face-first into the ring post. Both get back into the ring. Drew with a neckbreaker.

Drew plants a Glasgow kiss, Drew sends Miz into the exposed turnbuckle hits a DDT for the cover and wins the match.

WINNER: Drew McIntyre



Cody Rhodes interview



Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa

The match kicks off with Ciampa attacking Gunther in the corner. Gunther applies Boston crab, but Ciampa escapes and attacks Gunther in the corner. Gunther hits a bodyslam and follows up with a sleeper hold. Gunther with a big boot.

Ciampa gets a near fall after landing a Willow's bell. Gunther with a Dropkick for the cover, but Ciampa kicks out at two and a half. Ciampa hits the reverse DDT after avoiding a powerbomb from Gunther. Ciampa comes out with a jumping knee for the cover, but Gunther kicks out again.

Ciampa sets up the fairytale ending, but Gunther turns the table as he lands a suplex for the cover, but Ciampa kicks out. Gunther finally locks in the sleeper hold and wins the match by submission.

WINNER: Gunther

After the match, Imperium gets in the ring and attacks Ciampa. The music hits and it's Johnny Gargano...he aids the help by taking out Imperum. Gargano and Ciampa finish it off with a DIY on Vinci.
