The WWE Raw live event in Liverpool, England on June 28, 2023, was a night of incredible action and excitement. The fans in attendance were treated to a variety of matches, including a number of title bouts.
In the opening match,
Matt Riddle and Alpha Academy defeated Imperium, the team of WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci. The match was a hard-fought battle, but Riddle and his team ultimately prevailed.
Becky Lynch then defeated Zoey Stark in a singles match. Lynch was in control for most of the match, but Stark put up a good fight. In the end, Lynch was able to secure the victory with her signature move, the Manhandle Slam.
Bronson Reed then defeated
Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. Reed was dominant throughout the match, and he eventually put Nakamura away with his finisher, the Tsunami.
In the main event, WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya in a title match. The match was a back-and-forth affair, but Ripley was able to retain her title with a roll-up victory.
The night also featured a street fight between Cody Rhodes and Finn Balor. The match was brutal, and both men took a beating. In the end, Rhodes was able to win the match after hitting Balor with a Cross Rhodes.
The event closed with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Damian Priest. The match was a close one, but Rollins was able to retain his title with a Curb Stomp.
