Vivek Agnihotri Announces A 3-Part Film 'Parva' On Epic 'Mahabharata'

Mumbai, October 21 - National award-winning filmmaker, Vivek Agnihotri has announced his next film, titled Parva: An Epic Tale Of Dharma, based on the epic Mahabharata. Agnihotri will be adapting the best-selling novel Parva, written by Padma Bhushan Dr SL Bhyrappa, to bring the epic historical tale to the big screens.

The film will be made in 3-parts and it will be produced by Pallavi Joshi under the banner of I AM Buddha. The novel, Parva is considered a masterpiece of masterpieces, and the film will tell about whether Mahabharata is a history of mythology.



The details about the cast and crew will be announced soon. The script will be written by Vivek Agnihotri with Prakash Belawadi.

Vivek Agnihotri last directed India's first bio-science film "The Vaccine War", based on India's homemade COVID-19 vaccine and the struggle faced by scientists during its making. The movie, however, couldn't repeat the box office success of Agnihotri's last year's directorial "The Kashmir Files", and ended up as a flop.
