Pinehurst, 13 September - Several changes were indeed implemented before last week's edition of Raw concluded. Dave Meltzer initially reported that McMahon played a role in the creative process and made significant adjustments to the show.
According to the latest information from Fightful Select, both Vince McMahon and Triple H were responsible for making these changes, which continued until shortly before the show ended. Although McMahon wasn't physically present on the show, he did make changes remotely.
The changes that occurred included Cody Rhodes, who was initially scheduled to open the show, but ended up being replaced by Jey Uso as the show opener. Additionally, WWE had planned to feature Viking Raiders vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin after the Baszler-Chelsea Green match, but this bout was ultimately moved to the Main Event tapings.
Natalya vs. Zoey Stark had been scheduled for the card but was ultimately removed. Instead, Natalya appeared in a backstage segment. Some felt it was disrespectful not to utilize Natalya, especially considering her presence on the show.
Some of the time adjustments were allocated to enhance the presentation of the main event featuring Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley.
