Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' Release Date Changed
Mumbai, April 28 - The wait for Tom Cruise-fronted Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One just got a little shorter after Paramount Pictures preponed the release date by two days.
The spy action thriller, which was scheduled for July 14, 2023, release, will now be hitting theaters on July 12. It was recently reported that to get the maximum number of IMAX screens, Paramount considering prepone the release which has now been made official.
It was reported that Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer", which is slated for a global release on July 21, has an exclusive deal with IMAX, which is an indication that most of the IMAX screens across the globe will screen Oppenheimer from July 21.
Paramount boss Brian Robbins made the announcement of the release date change while closing out Paramount's CinemaCon 2023 slate presentation. The audience at CinemaCon also got an epic treat with a look at a 20-minute extended sequence from the seventh installment in the franchise.
Meanwhile, there is no clarity on the film's release date in India, as it is still scheduled for July 14 release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Some reports have claimed that it might released on July 7, which remains to see.
It is the sequel to "Mission: Impossible – Fallout" (2018) and the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible film series. The film stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt: An IMF agent and leader of a team of operatives along with Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny.
