Thalapathy Vijay's 'The GOAT' Pre-Sales Crosses 50 Crore Gross Worldwide For The Opening Day

Chennai, September 4 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time is set for a massive opening after scoring excellent pre-sales at the domestic and worldwide box office. The movie, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is scheduled to hit the big screens on September 5th in multiple languages.

With less than a day to go before the release, The GOAT has crossed 50 crores in advance booking collection worldwide, making it Vijay's second back-to-back film to score this short of pre-sales after blockbuster Leo last year.



The domestic pre-sales of The GOAT are around 30 crores gross (including block seats) while overseas sales are around 32 crores for the opening day, including overseas premieres. The final opening day worldwide booking is around 62 crores gross which is sensational.

The trend so far suggests that The GOAT is heading to open with 100+ crores gross at the worldwide box office. Thalapathy's Leo scored approx. 142 crores worldwide opening and now, The GOAT is expected to become the second movie of the actor to achieve the feat of scoring 100+ crores opening.
