Tamil Star Sivakarthikeyan Bags Career High Paycheck For SK20!

Chennai, January 8 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan is pushing his boundaries with his next film with "Jathi Ratnalu" director Anudeep KV. The yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie marks Sivakarthikeyan's Telugu debut as the lead hero. The shoot of the film is expected to begin in the second half of January 2022.

According to reports, Sivakarthikeyan will receive a career-high paycheck for this keenly awaited romantic comedy film. After delivering the biggest hit of his career in the form of "Doctor", despite the covid-19 pandemic, the actor has hiked his remuneration and will reportedly receive a whopping sum of Rs. 30 crores for this film.



Tentatively titled #SK20, the movie will be bankrolled by Narayan Das K Narang, Suresh Babu, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. As per a report, Sivakarthikeyan is playing the role of a tourist guide, and the film is about a foreign young girl and her visit to Pondicherry.

It is reported that the movie will have two female leads. While the official announcement is yet to be made, Rashmika Mandanna is said to be playing one of the female leads opposite Sivakarthikeyan.

The shoot for the film will take place in both London and Pondicherry, and the team is getting started from the 23rd of this month. Thaman S is on board to compose the music of the film that marks his maiden collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan will have a busy 2022 as far as his theatrical releases. The talented actor has completed the shoot of the college romantic drama, "Don", directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. It will be released in February this year. He then has a science fiction comedy film "Ayalaan" under development. The ambitious film is currently in the post-production stage and will release soon.
