Tamil Star Karthi Begins Shooting For A New Film, Titled 'Japan'

Chennai, November 8 - Tamil star Karthi is in fine form this year and with back-to-back big hits. The talented actor has had three films - Viruman, Ponniyin Selvan: I, and Sardar, released this year and all three went on to become successful at the box office.

Now, as per the latest confirmed reports, Karthi has started the shooting of a new film titled Japan. Actress Anu Emmanuel is playing the female lead role and this is the first time when she is sharing screen space with Karthi.



"Japan" is being directed by Raju Murugan who has previously directed films like "Joker", which won the National Award for the Best Tamil film, along with "Cuckoo", and "Gypsy". National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar will score the music of "Japan".

The shoot of "Japan" has begun today with a Pooja ceremony. Ravi Varman is on board for the cinematography. The official announcement is expected to be made soon. It is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
