Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Is Back To Play A Don

Mumbai, April 23 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a don in filmmaker Farhan Akhtar's blockbuster film franchise of the same name. While the actor has dropped himself out from the next film in the franchise, he will eventually play the role of a don again, however, in a different film this time.

It is known to everyone that SRK is teaming up with director Sujoy Ghosh for an action thriller film titled King which marks the actor's daughter Suhana Khan's big screen debut. Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, King Khan will be donning the grey shades again and play the role of the don.



"Shah Rukh Khan is making films for the audience and is well aware of their urge to see him in shades of grey. King is his passion project and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand (producer) and Sujoy Ghosh. They have collectively carved a very cool full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in King", says the report.

SRK will be sporting long hair and a faint beard in the film which is currently in the pre-production stage with Siddharth Anand working on the action blocks with international stunt teams. King is a fast-paced action thriller chronicling the journey of mentor and disciple, testing their survival skills against all the odds.

The movie will go on floors in September this year and will have a grand worldwide release in 2025.
