Spoilers For WWE WrestleMania 38 Main Event Match
The main event match for WWE WrestleMania 38 has reportedly been revealed!
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns is still likely to headline WrestleMania 38 this year, despite the change in direction.
As, Reigns was scheduled to defend his title against Lesnar at the Day 1 event on January 1, 2022, but the match was canceled as a result of Reigns testing positive for COVID-19.
Brock Lesnar was instead added to Fatel 4-way between the then WWE champion Big E, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins. With Brock's addition, it became the Fatal 5-way match.
At the end of the day, Brock Lesnar pinned Big E to become the new WWE Champion.
The Report says, Reigns vs. Lesnar, the match that was to headline the WWE’s first Day 1 show at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, is still on top as the main match for the 2022 WrestleMania.
The original plan was for Reigns vs. Lesnar to headline for the Universal title. One would think it would be Lesnar defending since what would have made the most sense was Paul Heyman in some form costing Reigns the title.
As noted Paul Heyman once again reunited with Brock Lesnar on Raw on 1/3 in Greenville, he was back as being the advocate for Lesnar without any kind of dramatic angle.
