Sony Confirms Three More Spider-Man Movies In MCU After No Way Home

Los Angeles, November 29 - Spider-Man movie series is going to have a long run in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There were speculations that the upcoming Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will be the end of the trilogy in the MCU, however, that is not the case anymore.

Sony's Spider-Man movie producer Amy Pascal tells Fandango that there are plans for at least three more Spider-Man movies. Holland is returning for at least the next movie.



"This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie," Pascal revealed. "We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies", said Pascal.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a multiversal adventure, meaning Spider-Man's cinematic future could take any form. Meanwhile, Venom 2 director Andy Serkis recently confirmed future crossover with Spider-Man in the MCU. "Venom: Let There Be Carnage's" post-credit scene also teased a more tightly connected Spider-Man film universe.

Jon Watts-directed "No Way Home", which is scheduled to release on December 17 in the USA (Dec. 16 in India), is touted to be the finest solo superhero movie ever made. The official synopsis reveals, "With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. When Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man".
