Sidharth Malhotra's 'VVAN' Postponed; New Release Date Locked

Mumbai, May 16 - Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra's fantasy folk thriller VVAN- Force of The Forrest has been postponed to 2026. The film is being directed by Panchayat fame Deepak Kumar Mishra and produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF).

VVAN was officially announced in November last year with the first look poster and release date, which was in October 2025. The makers have postponed the film and announced that it will now hit the big screens on May 15, 2026, worldwide. It will feature Tamannaah Bhatia in the female lead role.



VVAN explores the rich tapestry of Indian folklore while delivering a visually striking, emotionally intense cinematic experience. Set in the mystical heartlands of Central India, the film unravels a story woven with ancient legends, hidden temples, and the mystique of an untamed forest that holds secrets waiting to be unearthed.

The film marks a unique collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF), which has won the hearts of audiences with its powerful yet heartfelt TV series. The film has generated buzz with the poster, which is unique and promises a thrilling experience.
