Sidharth Malhotra To Lead Dharma Productions' First Action Franchise Film 'Yodha'

Mumbai, November 18 - It's Sidharth Malhotra to lead filmmaker Karan Johar's first-ever action franchise film "Yodha" under his Dharma Productions. It is going to be an ariel action film that will be directed by Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha and produced by Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.

Karan took to social media and shared the first look teaser and also confirmed the 11 November 2022 release date of the film. By the looks of the teaser, the movie seems to be based on a hijack. The movie will have two leading ladies, and as per reports, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna will be sharing screen space with the in-demand actor. The official announcement, however, will be made soon.

Interestingly, "Yodha" is the same film that was supposed to star Shahid Kapoor alongside Disha Patani. However, due to some issues, Shahid backed out of the project, making way for Malhotra, who is basking on the blockbuster success of "Sherhshaah".

Sidharth, on the other hand, has the spy thriller "Mission Majnu" co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, scheduled to release on 13 May 2022, and Indra Kumar's "Thank God", also featurning Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, in the pipeline.
