SS Rajamouli Talks About The Sequel To Mega Blockbuster 'RRR'

Chicago, November 13 - The gigantic box office success along with the Oscars buzz of SS Rajamouli's RRR has widened the talks about its sequel and the filmmaker has good news for the fans.

The maverick filmmaker is currently in the US attending various RRR screenings and related events and at one such event in Chicago, Rajamouli responded positively when asked if he had plans for RRR 2. He said that the initial story discussions are happening and there are plans to develop a sequel with his father V. Vijayendra Prasad working on the ideas for the script.



This is not the first time when Rajamouli has been asked about the possibility of an "RRR" sequel. Previously, he was asked about the same on his Japan tour where he said that if the sequel gets made, it would be about the rivalry between Ram (Ram Charan) and Bheem (Jr. NTR).

"RRR" is one of the most loved Indian films globally. It was recently released in Japan and got a stupendous response from the audiences at the box office. Worldwide, "RRR" has grossed over 1125 crores so far and is the 4th highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

Produced by DVV Entertainment, the film stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, along with Olivia Morris and others in key roles.
