SSMB28: Mahesh Babu's Film With Trivikram Confirmed For Sankranthi 2024 Release

Hyderabad, March 26 - Mahesh Babu's action drama film with director Trivikram Srinivas has officially been postponed from August 11, 2023, and will now be released on January 13 on the occasion of Sankranthi 2024.

The postponement of SSMB28 was almost certain since a lot of shoot is still pending and also after Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" was announced for the August 11 release. The yet-untitled film, however, will have to face stiff competition with Prabhas-fronted "Project K" which will be released on January 12.



Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas are teaming up after 12 years. The film has Pooja Hegde as the female lead, reuniting with Mahesh Babu after "Maharshi". The new release of "SSMB28" was announced with an intriguing poster featuring Mahesh Babu in a stylish and intense avatar.

Anbu-Arivu, the famous action choreographer duo is handling the stunt choreography of "SSMB28. S Thaman has composed music. PS Vinod is the cinematographer, AS Prakash art director and Navin Nooli is the editor.
