Stamford, December 8 - The WWE has officially announced the return of the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, on the upcoming December 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Reigns has been absent from television since his victory over LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel, where he successfully defended his title.



Additionally, the next SmackDown will feature two significant matches as part of the top contender tournament for the WWE United States Championship. Kevin Owens is set to go head-to-head against Austin Theory, while Grayson Waller will take on a handpicked NXT superstar.

The tournament saw Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley secure their advancement in the previous episode of WWE SmackDown. Here's the current lineup for the upcoming WWE SmackDown on Friday.
