Roman Reigns Hits 800 Days As The WWE Universal Champion
Roman Reigns has officially touched 800 days as WWE Universal Champion.
Now, Roman Reigns is holding the WWE Universal Championship for 800 days, which is recognized as the sixth-longest world championship reign in the promotion's history.
Roman Reigns won the title back in 2020 At WWE Payback, where he defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a Triple Threat Match to become the WWE Universal Champion.
Since winning the title, Reigns has put his title on the line against several top superstars including Big E, Edge, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul and more!
As noted, Fightful reported just last month, that Vince McMahon was not thinking about who would beat Roman for his titles in the slightest. However, speaking exclusively with GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes explained that the new regime change within WWE has seen that mindset change.
he report notes that Triple H now “has an idea” of who is going to beat Roman, but also explains that he’s unlikely to lose the Undisputed WWE Universal title anytime soon.
It’s also worth noting that whiles names like Cody Rhodes, The Rock and Bray Wyatt were mentioned, there’s no word on who WWE is considering to take the titles off Roman at this stage.
