Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani's 'Masti 4' Officially Announced

Mumbai, February 29 - Ending the months of speculations, actors Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani reunite for the fourth instalment of comedy entertainer Masti.

The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri while Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria of Maruti International along with A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions will produce it. The first three films were directed by Indra Kumar.



Masti 4 was officially announced on February 29 with the aforementioned cast and crew and also unveiled the logo for the same. It is yet to be known who will be the female leads in the upcoming movie that is set to go on floors soon.

"At its core, Masti 4 is a celebration of friendship, marriage, mischief, and the undying spirit of laughter. We want to go back to the OG for its essence and bring back laughter with a new story that will resonate while delivering a fresh dose of hilarity and heart", Milap Zaveri said in a statement.

The first Masti film was released in 2004 and was a success with over 34 crores gross worldwide, followed by Grand Masti in 2013, grossing more than 4X of the first movie with a worldwide collection of 145 crores. The last film in the franchise, Great Grand Masti (2016) was a disaster at the box office with just around 20 crores worldwide collection.
