Pooja Hegde Joins Vijay Deverakonda In Puri Jagannadh's 'JGM'; Shoot Begins

Hyderabad, June 4 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda reunites with director Puri Jagannadh after their yet-to-release "Liger" for another Pan India film. The movie was announced a few weeks ago with Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally, and Puri Jagannadh coming together to bankroll this high-budget action entertainer.

On Saturday (June 4), the makers announced that Pooja Hegde will be playing the female lead opposite Deverakonda and this marks their first film toegther. The actress has joined the shoot which commenced today in Mumbai. The shoot will be held across multiple national and international locations.



Charmme Kaur took to Twitter and announced Pooja on board while confirming the shoot commencement.

"Jana Gana Mana" is written by Puri Jagannadh and it is said to be the first of its kind film to provide an action extravaganza to audiences. The international crew is on-board to pen action sequences and it will be made on a huge budget.

The movie will have a worldwide release on August 3, 2023, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
