Opening Segment Announced For 9/25 WWE Raw

Glendale, September 22, 2023 - The opening segment for the September 25 WWE Raw episode at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA has been revealed.

During the September 22 SmackDown episode, WWE announced that Cody Rhodes would kick off the September 25 WWE Raw episode. While no specific details were given, it appears he will address the crowd and possibly get into a brawl.



Last week on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes brought Jey Uso to the show after it was announced that Jey would be moving from SmackDown to Raw. On the September 18 Raw episode, Jey declined the offer, attacking Bálor, Priest, and Mysterio, then losing a match to Drew McIntyre. After the match, Bálor, Priest, and Mysterio attacked Jey before Rhodes came out to save him.

So, this week on Raw, Cody will open the show. Additionally, there will be a WWE Tag Team Championship Match featuring The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & Damian Priest) defending against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens.

NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio will also defend his title against Dragon Lee. Furthermore, Bronson Reed will face Otis in a singles match, and Shinsuke Nakamura will respond to Seth Rollins' challenge.
