Official Title of Marvel Studios 'Deadpool 3' Revealed

Mumbai, February 12 - Marvel Studios' highly-awaited superhero movie and the third Deadpool instalment has officially been titled Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the title roles, respectively.

The title and first teaser/trailer of Deadpool 3 was unveiled during The Super Bowl, the annual league championship game of the National Football League of the United States. The trailer revealed how Deadpool gets the taste of a multiverse saga and that he needs a little help from his friends to survive.



Deadpool & Wolverine is a first-of-its-kind film for Marvel Studios. It will be its first R-rated movie and the franchise's official entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It will also be the studio's first movie to star a character that originally appeared in movies made by 20th Century Fox.

Huge Jackman, who has been a part of Marvel's X-Men film series, marks his MCU debut with the upcoming movie. The actor comes out of retirement as Wolverine to feature in the film, directed by Shawn Levy. The movie also stars Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Matthew Macfadyen, and Karan Soni in key roles.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 26, 2024, and in India, it will be released in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
