Makers Confirm When 'Pushpa 2' Will Release On OTT Platform

Hyderabad, December 20 - Director Sukumar's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has emerged as the biggest Indian blockbuster since SS Rajamouli's epic Baahubali 2 in 2017 and it continues to dominate the box office in its third week with the sensational collection all over.

Meanwhile, over the last few days, rumours have been floating on social media about the OTT release date of the film. It was reported that Pushpa 2 might be available on Streamer in the second week of January 2025, 4 weeks after the theatrical release.



The makers, however, this time were quick to address the rumours and denied the possibility of early streaming. Mythri Movie Makers took to social media and confirmed that Pushpa 2 will be released on the OTT platform only after 56 days or 8 weeks of the theatrical release.

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 is marching towards 1500 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. In the first 2 weeks (15 days), the movie grossed a massive approximately 1400+ crores, including 1175+ crores gross at the domestic box office alone. It is currently the third biggest Indian grosser globally and second at the Indian box office after Baahubali 2.
