Liger Makers Are In Talks With Prime Video For The Post Theatrical Digital Rights

Hyderabad, February 9 - Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda which marks his Pan-India debut is a hugely awaited film. It is another Pan-India outing from Tollywood.

Now coming to the topic, Reports have popped up that the post-theatrical digital rights of Ligar have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. It is being said that the OTT streaming rights of this action drama were acquired for rupees 60 crores for all languages.



According to a report, "Amazon Prime is indeed in talks with the makers of Liger and they look to orchestrate a deal pertaining to the digital streaming rights of the film." But the team has refused that any concrete deal has happened.

Liger is an upcoming Indian sports action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. The film is scheduled to be released on 25 August 2022.
