Kichcha Sudeepa's 'Vikrant Rona' Overseas Distribution Rights Sold For A Huge Price

Bengaluru, May 8 - Kannada star Kichcha Sudeepa's long-awaited "Vikrant Rona" is readying for July 2022 release in multiple languages. Not only in India, but the movie is also getting a lot of anticipation among overseas audiences.

On Sunday (May 8), the makers revealed that the overseas distribution rights of the movie have been sold to One Twenty 9 Media for all languages at a record price. According to the trade people, the overseas theatrical rights for the movie are sold for a whopping Rs. 10 crores.



Producer Jack Manjunath states, "I have always maintained that the content of the film is universal and the emotions will hit the right chord across the world and this deal is a testament to it. Extremely happy about the overseas purchase, and we will announce the remaining details at the earliest. It is the highest for a Kannada film and on par with the other South Indian Languages".

"Vikrant Rona" is directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by Shalini Jack Manju and Alankar Pandian in association with Zee Studios. It is a fantasy action-adventure film that also stars Nirup Bhandari, debutante Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles.

The movie is slated to release on July 28th in Kannada, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi with a 3D version.
