Chennai, August 5 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama "Jailer" is less than a week to go for the big release in cinemas worldwide on August 10. The much-awaited movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures.

Meanwhile, the high-octane first single "Kaavaalaa" from "Jailer" has set social media on fire. The lyrical video song featuring Tamannaah and Rajinikanth has crossed a massive 100 million views within just 4 weeks, one of the fastest Tamil movie songs to reach the milestone on YouTube.



Sung by Shilpa Rao, and Anirudh Ravichander who also composed, the "Kaavaalaa" song has become a massive chartbuster on YouTube as well as other social media platforms. Fans across the country are making reels on it which is helping the makers to keep the buzz of the movie high.

The song currently has approx. 101 million views with a massive 1.3 million likes on Sun TV's YouTube channel. Arunraja Kamaraj has penned the lyrics of the song.



"Jailer" is scheduled to release on August 10, 2023, in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. It also stars Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon, Tamannah, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, and Yogi Babu, among others in key roles.
