'Jaat' Director Gopichand Malineni Reunites With Balakrishna For A Historical Epic

Hyderabad, June 8 - Director Gopichand Malineni has reunited with Telugu veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna for a historical epic film, tentatively titled NBK 111. The duo previously collaborated on Veera Simha Reddy, which was released in January 2023 and emerged as a box office hit.

The announcement of NBK 111 was made on Sunday, June 10, with a poster featuring a lion with a half mask. It will be produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas, the banner currently backing Peddi with superstar Ram Charan.



While the details about the project are not revealed yet, it is said that it will be a historical action drama. It is Malineni's next film after the recently released Jaat, which marked his debut in Bollywood and featured Sunny Deol in the lead role.
