Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter' Censor Certificate and Official Theatrical Runtime Details

Mumbai, January 19 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's aerial action drama Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been rated U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification. Also starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, the film is scheduled to release on January 25.

Fighter was censored on January 19 with an approved theatrical runtime of 166 minutes (2 hours and 46 minutes). It marks Hrithik and Siddharth Anand's third film together after Bang Bang and War while this is the first time Hrithik and Deepika have come together.



The official plot of the film reads, "With the militant activities growing out of control along the Line of Control, Air Headquarters decides to form a special unit called Air Dragons at the Air Force base in Srinagar. Air Dragons comprising Sukhoi 30 fighter jets and ALH Helicopter is a special unit which has the best combat aviators across the Indian Airforce".

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, Fighter is an aerial action thriller which takes inspiration from Balakot Air Strike, launched by the Indian Air Force to target terrorist camps in PoK after the cowardly 2019 Pulwama attack on the Indian Army which claimed the lives of 40 brave soldiers.

The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles as Air Force officers alongside Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Rishabh Sawhney (main villain), and Ashutosh Rana. It will be released on January 25, in the regular and the IMAX format.
