Gadar 2 Becomes 3rd Highest Second Day Hindi Net Collection Movie Of All Time

Mumbai, August 13, 2023 - Sunny Deol stands in awe of the huge response and love showered upon his recent cinematic venture, Gadar 2, a mere 48 hours into its release. Once again, the theaters find themselves decked with 'Housefull' signs, yet concurrently, the matter of seating capacity constraints begins to surface.

Following its whooping opening of Rs 40.10 crores at the box office on the day, the Sunny Deol-led masterpiece "Gadar 2" has admirably sustained its stronghold within the cinematic realm. As it's got to do in forthcoming days, This cinematic marvel raked in an astounding Rs 43.08 crores (NET) on its second day.



This triumph pushes the movie's net domestic earnings to Rs 83.18 crores, a massive figure, especially for a Hindi film. In the history of Bollywood, only a few movies have managed to reach such high numbers in their opening weekend.

On its second day of release, Gardar 2 achieved a huge landmark by collecting a total of 43.08 crores in collections. This feat officially surpasses the collection of the well-known film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which managed to garner 40.5 crores on its own second day. Pathaan currently holds the leading position in this cinematic race, boasting an impressive collection of 68 crores on its second day. It's worth highlighting that Pathaan's performance on the second day was impacted by the significance of Republic Day.

Securing the second spot among these cinematic giants is KGF Chapter 2, which garnered a respected 46.79 crores in collections on its second day. Gardar 2 faced stiff competition upon its release from the likes of OMG 2, starring Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar. Despite a modest opening day earning of Rs 10.26 crores, OMG 2 managed to strengthen its presence with a consequential surge. Supported by favorable reviews and robust word-of-mouth, the film's second-day collections rose to an impressive 15.3 Cr.
