Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah Will Produce 12 Short Films With Young Talent

The director-producer, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is all set to produce as many as a dozen of short films. The filmmaker has said that there are stories that do not fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told.

"I have done around 1,000 episodes in daily soaps and made films also but there are some amazing stories that can only be told in 15 to 20 minutes duration. It's a different and exciting format and something that I have not attempted so far", he said.



"There are several ideas and stories that cannot fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told, and today the format of the short film is available. It is a very exciting format, exciting content, and exciting way of narrating a story", the filmmaker added.

The filmmaker who is known for helming movies like Namastey London, Aankhen, Singh Is Kinng, Commando series, and a few more will largely work with the new talented writers for the short films. He stated that it is excited to work with the young talent who he feels are way ahead of their time.

He further stated that these new writers are amazing, well prepared, and very well knowledgeable about the work they do which makes anyone want to work with them. He said that his team will continue to meet new and some established talent and read good stories as well.

The filmmaker also said that he and his team are in no rush to release these short films. He said that they will explore various film festivals before releasing these films properly.
