Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala Confirms A Film With Comedian Kapil Sharma

Mumbai, February 24 - Popular comedian, Kapil Sharma is making his comeback on the big screen with writer-director Nandita Das's next yet-untitled film, to be produced by Applause Entertainment & Nandita Das Initiatives. In the film, Kapil Sharma will step into the shoes of a food delivery rider.

Apart from Nandita Das's film, Kapil Sharma will also be doing a movie with renowned Bollywood filmmaker, Sajid Nadiadwala. The producer himself confirmed during the episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, that he would soon announce a film starring Kapil Sharma in the lead.



The filmmaker, along with wife Warda Nadiadwala, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Ahaan Shetty will be gracing the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show as special guests. This special episode will give a tribute to the 67-year-old journey of the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

During one of the clips of the show, Kapil asks Sajid Nadiadwala how he feels to be on the show, to which he replies, "I treat this show like my own because I was the one who recommended Archana Puran Singh in the industry. Navjot Singh Sidhu for the commentator's role in 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', followed by Sumona Chakravarti, and now its Krushna Abhishek, (Sudesh) Lehri".

"Not to forget, I am now also the producer of the star who is the producer of this show aka Salman Khan", he adds. Sajid further made an announcement on the show that he is making a script for the host Kapil Sharma for his next movie. "I will now also like to announce that we are in the process of making a script for Kapil as well and will share the news in the next two months".

Kapil Sharma made his feature film debut with romantic-comedy-drama, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", which was a box office hit. He later did "Firangi", which couldn't do well at the box office. It was his last appearance in a feature film. He, meanwhile, has voiced for "The Angry Birds Movie 2".
